Appointment: Shehu Sani makes demands from Buhari

Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani has made demands from President Muhammadu Buhari over his appointments.

Buhari has so far received knocks in regards to his latest appointment.

DAILY POST recalls that Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, days ago accused President Buhari of being religiously biased and lopsided in his appointments.

CAN President, Rev Dr. Samson Ayokunle made the claim while declaring that the body has lost confidence in Buhari.

In a statement issued by his Special Assistant on Media and Communications, Pastor Adebayo Oladeji over the weekend, Ayokunle said Buhari has promoted his religion more than any other president in Nigeria.

Also some Nigerians on social media has described Buhari as ‘nepotic’ even as they cited his appointments being awarded to mostly northerners.

Recall the president recently replaced FIRS Chairman, Tunde Fowler with Muhammed Nami.

On Tuesday, Buhari also approved the nomination of Engineer Ahmed Kadi Amshi (Yobe State – North-East), as the Chairman of the National Assembly Service Commission (NASC).

Sani, speaking on the public outcry called on President Buhari to address the allegations that his government is populated by northerners

He also urged the president to ‘Address why most capital projects are situated in the south.

Sani wrote this on his Twitter page.

He wrote: “President Buhari should address the concerns raised by those who pointed out that his Government is populated by Northerners.

“He should also address the concerns of those who pointed out that most of his capital projects are in the south.”
