A report by Television Continental indicates that there is heavy presence of security operatives at the Federal High Court, Abuja venue of the hearing of an application filed by Omoyele Sowore, convener of the #RevolutionNow movement. Sowore filed the application challenging an ex-parte order to the Department of State Services (DSS) to detain him for 45 days. The acclaimed activist and publisher of Sahara Reporters was arrested by the security body on allegation that he was threatening public safety. Meanwhile, the court will also hear an application which challenges the proscription of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) also known as the Shi’ite movement.
