2023 presidency: Northern youth group endorses Tinubu to lead Nigeria

A group of youths from the northern part of the country have endorsed former Lagos state governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu to take over Nigeria’s presidency from Muhammadu Buhari in 2023. The Nation reports that the youths, under the umbrella of United Northern Youth and Students (UNYS), held a press conference in Kaduna state on Friday, August 16 to convey their position. The group however frowned at their state governor Nasir el-Rufai for calling for the abolition of power rotation in the country.
